I prefer stainless steel bottles over plastic bottles.Here is why-
1.plastic bottles degrade over time, which results in the water being stored in the bottle containing microplastisc.Inhaling microplastics or getting it into our body can cause serious health problems over the time/ herre are the promblems of it-

Immune Dysregulation: Inhaled or ingested particles trigger immune responses and chronic tissue inflammation.
2.plastic nottles bottles do not keep your water cold, where as stainless steel bottle are way better at doing this, or evenn with hot water
3. they are not eco friendlly.
